Ceramics

Ceramics

The museum has a rather modest collection of Danish ceramics from c. 1900 to 1950. It includes works by Theodor Philipsen, Niels Hansen-Jacobsen, Jens Ferdinand Willumsen, and Thorvald Bindesbøll, and ends chronologically with vases and jars by Axel Salto, Nathalie Krebs, and Eva Stæhr-Nielsen. These works of art are the museum’s latest testimony to C. L. David’s avid interest in the Danish and foreign ceramics of various periods.
