Until recently, archaeologists could only speculate about how ancient glassware had been made. Unexpectedly , two glassmakers were discovered in Herat, Afghanistan, making glass the same way as described in 7th-century B.C. Assyrian cuneiform tablets.
This documentary shows the glassmaking process and the craftsmen’s way of life.
