Culture Night at The David Collection
Step into an enchanting evening where past and present meet. Experience traditional Turkish sounds, savor Moroccan flavors, decorate yourself with a henna tattoo, and discover how art from the Islamic world inspires the fashion of tomorrow.

Future Designers Inspired by History
The museum’s world-renowned Islamic art collection comes alive in a new way, as master’s students from the Royal Danish Academy present designs woven into the permanent galleries. Drawing on textiles, patterns, and themes from centuries past, the students have created works that reflect their own perspectives and cultural encounters—showing how contemporary fashion can engage respectfully, curiously, and creatively with other traditions.

The installations can be experienced throughout the museum collections, open all evening.
